I saw you...neon division. Also add a lane for the slow and another for the fast so we don't have to go on the wrong side whenever a bunch of slow, selfish people decide to spread out on our side.

  1. A lot of the tourists didn't even notice - or maybe chose to ignore - the new traffic laws. Still strolling leisurely down the corridor, blocking students in a hurry....

  2. There's already a fast lane.

    It's called the basement level.

  3. Some of us need to go to buildings where going through the basement would just make us waste time

  4. @3 Give an example of a path where this wastes time.

  5. @4 You didn't say please.

  6. @5 And you didn't justify the existence of the purportedly time-wasting paths.

It's fairly trivial that moving through the basement level is faster than moving through the infinite. If you've been down there, it's almost always empty. You could run or ride your bike down there, and there would be little to no impedance. The only extra time spent is that walking up and down a single flight of stairs, which isn't much.

It's non-trivial that a path exists that wastes time. If the extra time spent going and up/down the stairs is really that much relative to total travel time along the path, I'd say the source and destination were close enough that whatever impedance you'd face moving through the infinite would be insignificant to begin with, in which case you should just move through the infinite. It's akin to complaining about the time spent on the on/off-ramps of a highway.

You ought to justify the existence of such a time-wasting path, and I shouldn't have to ask nicely for you to do it (assuming you're actually trying to make an argument). You can refuse to present such a path citing my lack of niceties, but your refusal is still going to hurt your argument regardless of the reasons for your refusal.

  7. Lol @6 getting serious. Pick more internet fights brah

But tunnel dwellers rule, floor oners drool TBH

  8. If you want to think about it this way, climbing up and then down the stairs = 0 net work Lol

  9. @6 biking is not necessarily faster if you get stopped by faculty or CP who dare to fine you $50.

  10. @9 Then run instead of biking.

  11. But I thought the tunnels were only for duodenum sex?

  12. @6 LOL, I wrote the fifth comment, but not the third.
I just thought that 4. could be polite even if he is in the middle of an argument. We need people to have manners even if they feel irritated by the other person.

  13. There are gigantic cockroaches in the basement. I accidentally stepped on one. Eeeepp.

  14. > @6 biking is not necessarily faster if you get stopped by faculty or CP who dare to fine you $50.
    > faculty or CP who dare to fine you $50
    > faculty...dare to fine you $50
    > faculty

    lol, no comment.
