Graph displaying I Saw You visits per day for fall 2012 compared to fall 2011.

Here are the visit statistics for Fall 2012 as compared to Fall 2011. Interesting how they line up!

231,870 visits from 31,982 unique visitors. 89.4% of the visits come from the Boston area (1.76% from NYC, 1.57% from San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose and 1.09% from Washington, D.C.). 1.12% of visits come from outside the US.

  1. Posted on January 3, 2013....

    ...false.

  2. I know, sorry :(

We don't have a way to "sticky" a post, so this is the hack that we live with now. I apologize for the mess.

  3. As the weather gets colder, the need for warmth and comfort grows.

  4. I think it is more that as the semester gets more stressful, students procrastinate more. Though, I did notice a sharp (and highly amusing!) increase in the sexual forwardness of posts toward the end of term.

I'm curious how the out-of-Boston stats changed over the semester. I assume these are all alumni, so I'd guess there would be a slight decrease as more and more of them stop caring about the escapades of random undergrads.

  5. The peaks at the end are Bexley.

  6. Can you throw up the same graph for last term? I'm wondering if that's a growth in veiwership or just students coming to this more at the end of term, or a little bit of both.

  7. @6 it's out there somewhere. Trying searching like <img in the search bar?

  8. Nice

  10. @2: Does that mean the "Think before you submit" post at the top of ISY will be there till next November?

  11. I find it interesting that there seems to be a weekly cycle to visits. Although from the graph it's unclear if they peak on the weekend or in the middle of the week. Anyone care to shed some light?

  12. @11. I would guess the peaks are during the week. Everyone is too busy having fun/working on the weekend to check it. Plus it's all I do when I'm in class

  13. Do visit statistics line up with posting and comment statistics?
