I saw you... I feel like there's so much sexual tension between MIT residents, we should all feel free and happy to ask the other side out. Forget social norms and get active! There's too many goddamn posts about "oh i like him so much but it'll never work" wanna know why? Because you've never tried. You miss 100 percent of the chances you don't take. Who cares if you get rejected? Yeah maybe she will tell her friends, but you know what? Who cares!

just an fyi I am in my own relationship, so don't bother with trolling that I'm looking for attention from the opposite sex. I got as much as I like right now ;)

    Man! I totally thought that this post would be about relationships, and about how people don't need to be bounded by the societal norm of one-to-one. "One-to many or many-to-many might even be viable alternatives" - my heart leapt at the thought of some like-minded individual finally reaching the same conclusion I had. What a goddamn let-down, OP.

    Also, if you are gay and reading this you might be laughing at me... because this so-called "realization" probably came to you in the form of orgy-tastic awesomeness relationships some time ago. Well played, homosexuals. Well played.

    I'll also note that being poly doesn't mean you can forget social norms. In fact, you just get a set of slightly more complex social norms that you should conform to to avoid causing a bunch of stupid angst and drama.
