I saw you... being condescending as hell. Every time you see me, you look at me with disapproval, and every time you talk to me, you're impatiently telling me not to do something trivial. Why do you hate me? And more importantly, if you hate me so much, why don't you tell me outright what I'm doing wrong so that I can potentially change it?

    Maybe he sees himself in you, and needs you to find a way on your own so that he can follow your steps; if he knew the outright solution, he wouldn't need to do this to you. I dunno, I do this to people sometimes too. There are those who grow as people this way, vicariously.

    Just a hypothesis. :/
