I saw you...I saw you... girl who has dinner at McCormick. My extensive research/stalking posits that you're a Theta? I had a huge crush on you last year so I always had my dinner at McCormick just so our eyes could meet even for that femtosecond. But I got over you...or at least I thought I did, until I saw you again tonight. You looked so beautiful. I’m not over you yet, because the spell you have unwittingly cast on me is so intricately tangled into my being that I cannot rid myself of it without destroying myself in the process.

  1. I hope this is fake, 'cause if it's not, it's pretty creepy.

  2. She doesn't know you exist

you're building up one-sided feelings that will only result in her getting creeped out and you getting hurt

this can't end well, quit while she's still in the dark about it

  4. You're probably ugly so just give up.

  5. lol what "i'm not over you yet" you haven't even talked to her yet?

  6. @4 ++++++1 rofl, the post reeks of m'lady neckbeard

I've been there. Was in love with a chick and saw her five days a week for 4 years, and in the end we were barely even friends. A year later and I'm still messed up cuz I can't get over her.

Don't do that to yourself. It ain't pretty. Either go for it or drop it while you still can.

  8. @OP and 7. Maybe the most helpful thing to realize is that you can't be in love with someone you don't know. Infatuated, yes. But not in love. You're "in love" with a fantasy or ideal that exists only in your head, but not with an actual person. And like you say, the sooner you can realize that, the better.

  9. @8, +1

OP needs to listen to Just My Imagination -- The Temptations

  10. @8 I did know the girl, she was my only friend actually. I meant that we never stayed close to each other--sometimes we were, sometimes we weren't. What you're saying is definitely true though.

@9 Yes. That. Perfect. 'Nuff said.

@OP If you could make yourself get over her once, you're better off than me. Lol. Even if you can't get over her again, you're best off accepting that you can't be with her unless you make a move. I know it might be hard to let that sink in, but it's almost certainly true.

  11. @OP "extensive research/stalking"... not cute boo. She is a human being that walks like you do, talks like you do, and breaths like you. Another mere mortal.
Muster up some courage and talk to her. SMH MIT guys... ugh!

  12. @11 Hold up, let me write a program to run a few simulations, crunch numbers and calculate some probabilities... Alright, all done. Crap, when did she disappear?

    Lmao.
